At the present we can present the following specs over the robot:

Drive

Two Bosch750s drive motors. Two rubber coated 160mm diameter aluminium wheels. One Roboteq AX2550 speed controller. With amplimit set to 160Amps our motors produce above 1000N of drive force.

Weapon

One massive axe powered by 4 Magmotor S28–400 run at 36V. The graph above gives a hint of the power and energies that the weapon mechanics and electronics handles.

The axe will be able to make 2,5 swings per sekund, and each hit with the axe have the theoretical energy to throw a 100kg opponent 1,5m up in the air if the strike would come from directly underneeth the oponent. Of course the axe will channel that energy directly on top of the opponent instead and smash it towards the floor of the arena.

Power supply

The entire robot is powered by three Hawker Genesis 13Ah batteries in series.

The new robot

If you are interested in detailed specifications on the new robot you will have to wait a while longer. What can be said however is:

It's name is yet not decided,
It's a full bot spinner.
It will be powered by 4 mamotor S28–400 motors.
The protoype is powered with 2 Hawker Genesis 13Ah batteries in series. The final version will be powered by NiMh or Lithium cells giving at least 36V.
It will be one of the most powerful and impressive spinner robots around and it will implement a whole lot of new advanced technical solutions.

More info will be posted when the prototype is finished and tested.
